Chicken in a Honey Mustard Sauce

Ingredients:

8 Chicken Thighs or Drumsticks
5 Cloves of garlic
3 Tablespoons of English Mustard
3 Tablespoons of Dark Soy Sauce
3 Tablespoons of Honey
1 Tablespoon of Dried Chilli flakes
1 Tablespoon of Chicken seasoning
2 Tablespoons of lemon juice
1 Medium size Onion

Preparation:

Place the Chicken pieces in a bowl.

Coarsely chop the Onion and Garlic and add to the chicken.

Add the Mustard, Soy sauce, Chicken seasoning, Chilli and Lemon juice to the chicken.

Allow to marinate for at least an hour.

Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a pan, add the Chicken pieces one by one and any juices left in the marinade bowl.

Cover the pan and allow to simmer for 30 minutes.

Add the honey to the cooked sauce and stir.

Boiled Asparagus spears make a good side to this recipe. Add Asparagus spears to boiling salted water for 2 minutes, then drain.

Arrange the spears in a neat row and place a piece of chicken on top. Finish
